• Douglas Jack Agu (born 19 August 1989), better known by his stage name Runtown, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer.

• After the death of his father, he moved to Abuja with his mother who was working in the Ministry of Health. He also completed his primary education there and later went back to Enugu to do his secondary education  .

• In 2007 Runtown moved to Lagos from Enugu State with Phyno in 2005 where they started doing underground collaborations, especially with artists like J-Martins and Timaya.

• Runtown is currently studying Fashion Management at a fashion school in New York City.

• Runtown wrote ‘Aye’ by Davido. He confirmed this in an interview with the Nigerian Tribune In 2014.

•  In 2008, he partnered with Phyno to form a record label called Penthauz during which he released his first two singles: "Party Like It's 1980" and "Activity Pikin".

• Rundown  collaborated with Davido on his song "Gallardo", which brought him into lime light.

• In 2009 he, he signed a multi-million Naira contract with Eric-Manny Entertainment owned by PrinceOkwudili Umenyiora, the C.E.O of Dilly Motors.

• On 31 May 2016, Runtown got a court injunction from the Federal High Court in Lagos   in other to terminate his contract with his record label  Eric Manny Entertainment upon an allegations that  concludes and attends musical shows without the knowledge of the label.
